At the recent Tahitian Noni International Vision Retreat in Hawaii, TNI received an unexpected surprise from the Hawaii House of Representatives. TNI was
presented with an award commending us for our efforts in making significant progress in improving the health of people throughout the world. The award was
completely unanticipated and unsolicited, and it was a wonderful gesture from the State of Hawaii. A copy of the award is included below:

THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
STATE OF HAWAII
Hereby presents this certificate to
TAHITIAN NONI INTERNATIONAL
WHEREAS, South Pacific islanders have long known that the noni is a nourishing fruit with many health benefits, and modern research appears to support implications that this plant helps the immune system’s natural ability to fight disease and infection, increases energy, rids the body of harmful free radicals, aids digestion, and promotes healthy skin and hair; and
WHEREAS, in 1996, Utah-based TAHITIAN NONI INTERNATIONAL began marketing the juice of this extraordinary tropical fruit, scientifically known as Morinda citrifolia; and
WHEREAS, driven by a vision of sharing the redeeming qualities of noni with the world, John Wadsworth and Stephen Story joined forces with Kerry Asay, Kim Asay, and Kelly Olsen to determine the Morinda citrifolia grows best on the verdant and sun-splashed islands of Tahiti, perfected harvesting methods that would also ensure the environmental protection of the land, determine the best way to process, pack, and transport the precious noni, and even discovered a proprietary flavoring system and juice extraction process that protects the beneficial nutrients and fundamental integrity of noni juice; and
WHEREAS, now employing over 500 Pacific islanders, TAHITIAN NONI INTERNATIONAL plans to construct a state-of-the-art, 85,000 square-foot processing plant in Papeete, Tahiti, by 2005, and further anticipates expanding its weight management plan for women over 40, as well as increasing its product line to include noni tea and oil; and
WHEREAS, THE LEADERSHIP OF TAHITIAN NONI INTERNATIONAL has created a synergy of dynamic products and an equally impressive distribution system, set a standard for excellence in market performance and growth during its eight years in business, and made a positive impact on the global economy; now, therefore,
The House of Representatives of the Twenty-second Legislature of the State of Hawaii hereby commends and applauds the efforts of TAHITIAN NONI INTERNATIONAL for making significant progress in its quest to improve the health of people throughout the world, and expresses its warmest Aloha and best wishes for continued success in all future endeavors.
