I am going to try
to describe the scene that is before me this morning. It is shortly
after 6am on a beautiful Tuesday. I am sitting on a balcony of my
hotel room looking at a most beautiful sight. The hotel - the Intercontinental
Beachcomber on the island of Tahiti. Arlene, my wife, is just beginning
to awake. I am here with one of the largest Outrigger Club groups
in our company history.
From my balcony,
I can see the inner grounds of the hotel property. A few ambitious
guests are jogging or walking in the early morning. Beyond the walkways
that are flanked on both sides by palm trees, is the calm water inside
the protective reef that surrounds the island. I can see and hear
the surf crashing against the reef some distance away. The waves
are quite impressive out there and the sounds are almost mesmerizing.
Inside the reef, the water is quite calm and at anchor are a variety of
sail boats. No activity can be noticed on board any of them yet.
Occasionally, a racing outrigger canoe flies past with the crewmen practicing
their sport against time. Birds are chattering to each other beckoning
the rest of us to arise and begin our day. In the distance is the
island of Moorea. I can see the silhouette of large ferries plying
the waters between Tahiti and Moorea making slow progress in their assigned
routes.
Sunlight is just
beginning to hit the shores of this beautiful island as a small six-passenger
plane of "Air Moorea" takes off from the Fa’aa airport bound for Moorea.
There are clouds on the horizon, but the sky above us is cloudless, hinting
that today may be beautiful weather.
The truth is, try
as I might, I cannot adequately describe what I am seeing this morning.
It is the perfect description of tranquility. There is no hint of
political unrest, economic trouble, hatred or jealousy anywhere within
my sight. What I see is harmony; every element in place and at peace
with the others. As I look and ponder, I find myself so grateful
that this is the place of origin and birth of our company and our products.
This place, above any other, is the perfect source of a company that is
bringing hope and security to so many thousands all over the world.
The scene I’ve just
described is our brand. Tahiti, this otherworldly place, pristine,
tranquil, and kept from the troubles and disharmony of the rest of the
world, offers one of its treasures to us in the form of a simple juice.

Our products are

June 2004 was a historic month in sales!!
June 2004 became
the 18th month in a row where we have exceeded the previous corresponding
month from the previous year. Eighteen in a row!! June 2004
continues the impressive pattern of growth. June 2004 was our largest
June sales month ever. It marked the end of the 2nd quarter of 2004
which became the largest quarter in company history by a sizeable margin.
Our growth is most impressive. We will surpass the half billion ($500,000,000.00
USD) sales figure this year, making us one of less than 10 companies in
network marketing history to reach this level of success.
I want to emphasize
to you that our strategy has never been to become another ordinary network
marketing company. In fact, the further away from those other ordinary
companies we can become, the more successful we will be. We thrive
in becoming unconventional, and at times outrageous. This separates
us from the pack and emphasizes our vision of the future. We are
all witnessing the evolution of network marketing and TNI is in the middle
of this evolution.
I have been writing
monthly updates now for eight years without missing. In the early
days of our company, these updates were done by fax and now by e-mail.
In the early days, I sent out an update every week, sometimes two or three
times per week. Now, I send one out every month. One thing
I have consistently reported to you every time is our sales performance.
We have gone from achievement to achievement, from record to record.
>From my observations, we are the only company that consistently reports
our performance to our distributors, month in and month out. We are
a private company and are not required to do so. I report to you
so you can gain a sense of the enormity of the company. These historical
statistics are very interesting, but I want you to know the only real reason
I report this information to you, month in and month out. The reason is
to allow you to see into the future. The past is great and all the
records we have broken and all the millions we have paid out are great,
but the only thing that means anything to a new prospect or a new distributor
is the future. This information on our past, our performance, and
our track record is there to help us imagine how great the future will
be. I find myself closing my eyes and placing myself into the future
two, three, or five years from now. This vision allows me to project
our success into the future and get genuinely excited today. Remember,
the future is our strongest selling feature. Our future will beat
the daylights out of any other company new or old. That is what gets
my crank turning.
Now a Glimpse into Our Future:
We envision a future
of expanding opportunities.
We will make network
entrepreneurism appealing to a broader cross section of the population.
Old perceptions of who will and who will not be interested in network marketing
will gradually change forever.
Using our systems
and tools to create a predictable "Success Path" for all distributors,
we will take the guess work out of building an income, and unify the company
behind simple systems designed to create activity in a fun, exciting way.
Tell the world our
story. Our story separates ourselves further and further from our
competitors. The TAHITIAN NONIä brand is the standard in the
world. Everyone else has to compare themselves to us. We will
make sure the world continues to know the difference, and in turn, make
it harder and harder to compete with TAHITIAN NONI Juice.
We are taking advantage
of technology to get our message to more people. We are in the communications
business. We communicate a message, a story. We do this person
to person. TNI has set the standard in the industry for utilization
of technology in support tools. Our distributors are being empowered,
liberated, and motivated to bring this message to an ever-broadening audience.
In August, we will launch our new TNI website that will revolutionize your
business. We are not on the sidelines with technology; we are in
the forefront in our utilization of the latest web-based tools to empower
you. Watch for this.
Increasing opportunities
equals increasing rewards. TNI distributors have always enjoyed the
most liberal and generous reward structure. As the opportunities
expand in the future, the rewards will, as well.
We are establishing
TAHITIAN NONI as the pre-eminent brand in performance, food supplements,
health products, products for active, healthy people. The secret
to our success: past, present, and future, is no secret at all. We
have the opportunity to establish a brand name that will be valued and
respected by consumers everywhere. Every door that we have mentioned
will be opened as this happens.
The keen result is
that a TNI distributorship will gain in value, year after year. While
the industry at large still struggles with such issues as shrinking opportunities
and crowded competition, TNI distributorships will become a very valuable
asset.
We stand literally
on the threshold of a new millennium. As always, the choice lies
with each of us. Success does not come without effort and sacrifice.
There is something of monumental and historic value within Tahitian Noni
International. If you can sense it, pursue it. If you have
questions, drink TAHITIAN NONI Juice, use the other Originals products,
and ponder these things again in light of your personal vision of the future
for yourself. As for me, I have never encountered a more promising
future.
Now, I want to share
with you a letter I received recently from one of our leaders in Norway.
This letter was accompanied by a beautiful painting done by the son of
the person who wrote it. Andreas Wildar, 15 years old and suffering
from Downs syndrome, has benefited from TAHITIAN NONI Juice. This
letter was written to explain this to me and to introduce me to the world
of young Andreas. It touched me so much, so I hope you will receive
it in the same sense of gratitude that I did.

This something - a painting - a self portrait - is made by my youngest son Andreas, who at the time it was made was 12 years old. He has Downs syndrome, and has since his birth, has been suffering from all kinds of infections and burdens of health. The year he started to drink TAHITIAN NONI Juice, he already swallowed eight kinds of antibiotics without any change in his health situation.
