TNI Sponsored Athlete Sets New World Record

Tahitian Noni International sponsored athlete, Chris Scott, has broken the
3000m pursuit world record in a blistering time at the Australian National
Track Cycling Championships at Sydney's Dunc Gray Velodrome.

"It was 3.38.054 and I did 3.34.221.  The team has not been officially
named for the Paralympics but the head coach has said that the athletes
that broke records at the National will be in the team."

The multi-disability cyclists proved why they are the world's top-ranked
and a major threat for the Athens Paralympics when a total of three world
records fell at the event.

Chris, aged 35, got the ball rolling when he smashed his own world record
in the CP4 Division qualifying round of the 3km individual pursuit riding
a time of 3min 34.221sec to knock a huge 3.833sec off the previous World
Record he set in 2002 in Ausburg, Germany.

"I love riding on this track and so
when I do, I ride well," said
Chris.

"I've been riding bigger gear than
usual and we weren't sure it would
come off but it did and almost four
seconds is a bonus."

Chris has served notice to his
rivals for Paralympic gold that he
will be even harder to beat than
usual. "At my age all my rivals are
waiting for me to decline but I'm
still improving so they'll be a bit
worried."

Chris attributes his increasing skill with increasing age partly to a
dietary supplement he has been drinking for the past couple of years.  I
started drinking TAHITIAN NONI™ Juice six weeks prior to going to Europe
for a ten week period to compete at two International competitions.

"Taking a supply of TAHITIAN NONI™
Juice with me helped me prevent the
usual troubles with jet lag and
prevented me from becoming ill
while training at a high intensity
in varied climates.  TAHITIAN NONI
Juice has become a vital part of my
sporting life."
