TIRED OF BEING STUCK? WHAT'S HOLDING YOU BACK?

Whenever we are brave enough to move out of our comfort zone,
to try something new we do so with a certain amount of
trepidation, and look to family and friends for approval and
support. But how do they know what is right for us? What if
we want to change ourselves? Why is it we ask those nearest
and dearest for approval, when all they can do is base their
recommendation on the you they already know, not the new you
that you are aspiring to.

Unfortunately, we listen to people who, for the most part,
have no experience in our matters whatsoever! Where does their
wisdom come from? Is their knowledge hearsay, or is it based
on their personal experience? Think about it. I urge you to
be careful of where you get your information. If you need to
find support, I would advise that you ask someone who has been
successful at something relevant to what you are attempting
to do.

Often the person from whom we take advice is ourselves, but
unfortunately our knowledge is based on our beliefs. And what
if we want to change our beliefs? Do we still listen to those
pessimistic voices in our head?

What if we start something and discover that it is not working,
or succeeding in the way we hope, what do we say: 'Oh well,
that doesn't work, enough of that, on to the next'. Why don't
we just go out and find someone who has succeeded at whatever
it is we want to succeed at? Would that not be the more
positive and pro-active way of getting around this negative
attitude?

Let's look at why we are afraid to move forward. Put simply,
we act according to what we believe to be so. If we go to a
restaurant and have a bad meal, does that mean that all
restaurants serve bad food? Do we stop going to them? No, of
course not. But this knowledge will most likely prevent us
from going back to that same restaurant, and we will, most
likely, try another next time. Thinking in this way we keep
an open mind. We exercise our options in a positive way. We
all have tremendous potential so don't hold back because of
a few bad experiences, keep an open mind, and keep moving
forward. You never know when success will come knocking.

Have you noticed that once we have a belief we only recognize
information that supports that belief. Whether it be a positive
one or a negative one. What if we allow ourselves to cultivate
positive beliefs, and then search for ways of supporting those
beliefs, then our potential is unstoppable. Wouldn't you agree?

When we have had bad experiences, our past conditioning affects
our ability to recognize new possibilities, and this becomes
limiting to our ability to create what we want. If you have
blocks about certain things, ask why. Don't just accept them.
Once we understand the why, new opportunities appear everywhere.

Know that you are smarter than you think, and don't allow
others who have no knowledge of you, or the person you are
aspiring to become, advise you. Make sure you find things out
from people who have had the right experience. You will then
see opportunity, and allow yourself to create bigger and better
goals for yourself. Your life will improve accordingly! Have
faith in yourself, and the person you wish to be.

Remember, we remain rooted until the pain of not doing
something is greater than the pain of doing something.
Don't wait for this to occur, replace those outdated
memory chips in your brain, and you will be amazed at
the possibilities.

Improve your life by changing your beliefs.

Good luck...
