Subject: Suggestions for drinking your Noni

Hi guys and gals,

Here's a few suggestions that I've put together.  I'm learning stuff all the
time, so please accept my apologies if my advice isn't 100%.

Also, remember that this was written last year and I may have learnt a few new
things since then.  I'll try to edit and add any new stuff before I send this.

Be sure to ask ANY questions, ANY time.

Here's some important points about drinking the juice...

*** REFRIGERATE ***      *** SHAKE WELL before EVERY use ***

1. Try 15 mls morning and night, rather than one ounce (30mls) once a day.
Preferably 20 minutes away from your meal.  eg.  20 minutes before breakfast and
dinner

[Actually, you ought to start with an ounce TWICE daily initially while you
"load" your system.  That's why it is called a "loading dose".]

2. Follow with a glass of water (or mix it with the water.  But, it's like
over-diluting orange juice.  See below).

3. I have no problems with the taste and it tastes quite nice.  The two food
scientists did a great job.  But, feel free to mix it with another drink or
juice.   I drink it on its own most of the time, but when I do mix it, I like it
with apple juice.

[Although it does taste like "watered down juice", I actually drink it like this
most of the time now.  For taste reasons, though, I suggest you drink it on
it's own or with another juice.  Yummy!]

4. REFRIGERATE.  I should have put this first, but it can stay here.  (OK, I did
put it first...now)

5. Detox/Cleansing.  This is an interesting subject for me.  The mere thought of
some "thing" called a detox reaction sounded like a load of garbage to me.
However, it was what made me nervous about drinking the juice.  I'd heard it
gives people diarrhea.   Anyway, it had no such effect on me.   The drummer and
guitarist from ex-Savage Garden reckoned, "We don't have any toxins.  We don't
do drugs, we eat a healthy diet" but they experienced a detox reaction.  But,
they persisted and after a few weeks one rung from David Bowie's house and one
rung from Steven Segall's house and each said that they felt great.  Persistence
is the key.  

Basically, a proportion of people experience various detox/cleansing type
"side-effects".  These could be diarrhea, a wierd body odour, or whatever.  This
is because the juice works at a cellular level.  As the cells of your body get
rid of the gunk they don't want, it has to go somewhere.   That's also why
drinking plenty of water is a good idea.

(Now, you may say, "Water.  It's just the water that makes you feel better".
That may be true, it may not.  But Simon Kerle - the Brisbane Bullets captain -
told me that he was experiencing good results before he was told to drink plenty
of water with the juice.)

In summary, you may experience a detox reaction, you may not.  I didn't and I
thought I was the most likely candidate for some nasty reactions.  I wouldn't
worry about it or expect it if I were you.  Just be aware of the possibility and
reduce your dose if necessary.   ...and, drink plenty of water.

"Dose" - It's just a natural fruit juice that seems to help people with their
health.  It's not a medicine.  But, I call it a dose because when you use a
medicine glass to measure out just 15, 20, or 30 mls, it feels like your
measuring out a dose.

** Drink a MINIMUM of an ounce a day, EVERY day.  Go ahead and break that into
two doses if you want.  [try two ounces daily for perhaps a month or more]
** Drink a glass of water after it.  Simon knew he had to drink plenty of water
and did, but he didn't realise he ought to drink a glass there and then
immediately after.
** Work out your own needs regarding how close or how far from bedtime to drink
your noni.  The same juice that helps with insomnia also helps with energy.  
- I find that if I drink it an hour before bed, I'm full of energy when I want
to go to sleep.
- I find that if I drink it immediately before bed, sometimes I "seem" to have
more energetic dreams (usually a nightmare).  No-one else has told me this, and
I know a couple of our people are drinking the juice right before bed, so I
don't know.  Maybe it's a "Charles" thing.
- I find that if I just go ahead and drink the juice as normal before dinner, I
sleep quite nicely and wake up feeling more refreshed than I used to. Lots of
people have reported a better sleep and waking feeling refreshed for a change.
This is a common result.

Be sure to pass these suggestions on to those you share the juice with.  The
more people know, the better their results.  You don't want to wait a month
before finding out they keep their juice on a shelf above the oven.

As time goes on, you'll pick up other ideas and stuff.  Make sure you let us
know.  We're still learning, too.
